Job Description
Serving Surrey for over 15 years with great tasting pizza and curry dishes at the best prices in town! Give us a call now we are ready to serve you quality pizza and Indian food every time. We are currently hiring three food counter attendants/kitchen helpers to start immediately.
Job Duties
Take customers’ orders. Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests and makes change
Serve customers at counter
Portion, assemble, wrap food and package take out food
Clean, peel, slice, and trim food stuff
Stock refrigerators and salad bars
Wash and peel vegetables, fruits and other food items
Keep records of the quantities of food used
Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders
Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
Job Requirements
Languages- English
Education- No specific education requirements. No degree, certificate or diploma required
Experience- No prior experience is required. We will train the willing candidates.
Strong communication skills in English. Knowledge of Punjabi will be an asset to have as majority of our customers are Punjabi speaking
Ability to work in kitchen for extended hours
Passion for the kitchen and for producing great product every day
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must work well within a team culture
A positive and team-oriented attitude
You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods

As per Employment standards act, 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation annually or the option to choose 10 days of paid vacation annually with no vacation pay on each pay period.
