Job requirements Languages: English; knowledge of Mandarin will be a distinct advantage as we develop business opportunities in China

Education: University degree in business or marketing.

Experience: 2 years or more in business development activities

Job Duties

  • Meet clients and market company products;
  • Represent the company and act on behalf of the company in negotiations and strategic planning with clients and in dealing with regulatory authorities in China
  • Develop policies and administer programs to promote commercial business investment
  • Plan development projects and coordinate activities with representatives of enterprises, community and business associations and government agencies
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to attract venture capital
  • Respond to inquiries from members of the business community and general public concerning development opportunities
  • Review and evaluate commercial development proposals and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for the company's products
  • Plan and develop E-commerce strategies - On both national and international E- Commerce platforms
  • Design market research questionnaire
  • Conduct social or economic surveys on selected areas in China to assess development potential and future trends
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval in China
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale or retail customers
  • Conduct research on consumers, competitors and the market place in China to identify trends to optimize marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Analyze promotional and marketing campaigns to identify areas of improvements
  • Prepare reports on business development activities conducted in China

Compensation: $45-47.00 hourly for 35 or more hours per week
