Job Description:
- Control and oversee the operations of staff using kitchen appliances, checking the expo line before serving food, preparing, portioning, and serving meals;
- Schedule staff, event planning and related activities;
- Keep track of inventory and make sure that all food supplies and other necessities are well stocked;
- Ordering supplies after stock estimation;
- Labor cost and sales, wastage reports;
- Manage staff's work schedules;
- Maintain training for staff (duties, safety procedures, health code, service);
- Supervise order preparation, and check delivery orders for completion of the items;
- Check the quality of food preparation and service based on food quality and control standards before serving;
- Assist with the selection of menu items, and plan menus based on sales and cost estimates;
- Developing efficient staff working procedures and service systems;
- Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills;
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner;
- Managing restaurant customers to enquire about food quality and service;
- Follow food safety regulations;
Experience requirements: Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service
