LONG-HAUL TRUCK DRIVER

NEUTRON TRANSPORT INC is looking for the two positions of LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER for their location at 323 Taralake Way NE, Calgary, Alberta T3J 0R5.

Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position

Salary: $ 29.25 per hour for 37.50 to 44 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends

Job duties:

• Transporting all finished goods and materials by driving tractor-trailor, long combination vehicle & straight trucks primarily weighing 4500 Kg over long routes.
• Plan pre routes, en route and submit trip inspection report specifying Vehicle equipments and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes etc upon trip completion.
• Performing security checks on Cargo to ensure safety requirements and procedures are followed while transporting dangerous goods.
• Proper maintenance of log books.
• Capable of performing emergency Roadside repair when required.

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience:  No Experience

Class AZ License required
