ELECTRICAL/MECHANIC

DY Autobody & Paint is located at 5 PERMA COURT ST. CATHERINES ON L2R 7K8 and is looking to hire a full-time Electrical Mechanic to join our team and keep our operation running smooth. Looking for a motivated, hard-working Mechanical Incline to perform mechanic Auto repairs with the above experience in electrical work. This position requires an employee to possess a high degree of independent judgment and be well organized with a strong attention to detail.

1 Position

Job Type: Full-time 30 hrs. per week

Shift work 

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to; truck checks, washing, greasing, repairing cars and equipment, welding and fabricating, changing chipper knives, and developing and following a strict maintenance schedule. This role is also responsible for ensuring equipment is being used properly to prevent unnecessary breakdowns.

Responsibilities:

• Disassembly / Assembly motors
• Electrical motor knowledge needed
• Ability to follow manufacturer instructions: diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Ability to fabricate parts to repair or replace existing parts utilizing machine shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to search parts on supplier’s web page by code.
• Troubleshooting any issues or malfunctions, and locating sources of mechanical problems by observing, listening, and using devices as appropriate as they arise.
• Repair automobiles, pickup trucks, and other motor vehicles
• Specialize in vehicle electronic, and electric systems diagnostic and repair
• Repair and maintain customer and internal vehicles
• Diagnose electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Work with service and parts teams to ensure clients' vehicles are ready when promised
• Perform quality work while being efficient
• Ensure complete client satisfaction while achieving dealership goals
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as business dictates

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

•  5 years plus Electrical (preferred)
