Job Title: Business Development Officer

JOB DUTIES

• Create policies to extend the digital and commercial business 

• Design market research questionnaire 

• Asses the potential growth and future trends by carrying out social and economic surveys on local, regional and national areas 

• Work with representatives of various industrial, commercial firms, government agencies to plan and layout the development projects and coordinate operations. 

• Answer the enquiries regarding growth prospects from the general public and business community. 

• Review and assess requests for commercial or industrial development 

• Offer consulting services on protocols and specifications on obtaining official approval

• Survey consumers' preferences and purchasing behaviors to gather information for analysis.

• Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles

• Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects

• Develop and implement business plans

• Create social and economic profiles for urban and rural areas to promote business and industrial development.

Compensation & Hours:

Salary: $46.80 CAD Per Hour

Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $70.2 per hour starting after 44 hours per week, with holiday pay of 4% of gross pay

Job Details:

Experience Required: 2 years to less than 3 years.

Education Required: Completion of Bachelor's degree is required

Job Type: Employee with Full Time/Permanent Status
