JOB SUMMARY:


As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will lead by example, ensuring that our guests receive not only exceptional Filipino cuisine but also an unforgettable dining experience that reflects the heart and soul of Filipino culture. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of the restaurant and maintaining high standards of service quality. JOB TITLE: Restaurant Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

  • Lead pre-shift meetings, set daily objectives, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service
  • Assess ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, place orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure adequate stock
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure a clean, organize, and welcoming dining environment
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders
  • Create and manage staff schedules that meets operational needs and ensures appropriate coverage
  • Provide ongoing coaching to address performance gaps and enhance employee growth
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Enforce restaurant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Resolve conflicts among team members, fostering a harmonious work atmosphere
  • Support restaurant staff during rushes and busy periods
  • Other related duties as required

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of Secondary School is required
  • One year of related Food Service experience
  • Supervisory experience is an asset
  • Able to read, write and speak in English

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent Full-time, Long-term.

 

WAGES: $20.05 per hour

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week

 

OVERTIME: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.

 

BENEFITS PACKAGE:

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by the employer.
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis.
