Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency and capabilities of newly implemented information and communication network systems.
- Manage and orchestrate a team of design professionals to create and integrate information and communication systems, encompassing architecture, hardware, and software components.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, including components like processors, memory, and storage devices.
- Conduct research to assess and incorporate network systems, data communication, hardware, and software components into an integrated system.
- Examine user needs, gather requirements, create a system design, develop the system, establish its architecture, and define specifications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, conduct research, and innovate to improve existing systems or develop new solutions.
- Execute component development, design, verification, simulate, and conduct prototype bench testing.
- Conduct research, design, development, and the integration of computer and telecommunication hardware.
- Compose, adapt, incorporate, and verify software code for e-commerce and various Internet applications.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college diploma is typically required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in progressively more responsible roles.
- Proficiency in software development, and hardware design is essential. Familiarity with computer systems, networks, and software tools is also important.
- One should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges effectively.
- Good communication skills are valuable, as one often needs to work with the team and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Java, Python, or others, depending on the specialization.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Understanding of computer hardware components and their interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and resolving issues.
