Restaurant Manager (NOC: 60030)

Number of Positions Available: 1

Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 30 hours per week

Location of Work: Calgary, Alberta

Wage: $23.80 / hour

Start: as soon as possible

Language Requirements: English

Responsibilities

-          Plan and manage operations of restaurant including the establishment of staff work schedules

-          Record and control Inventory, monitor revenues and adjust prices accordingly

-          Implement operational procedures in accordance with the services provided

-          Effectively manage time and schedules, stepping in where necessary

-          Address customers' complaints or concerns with a dedicated focus on guest satisfaction

-          Recruit, train and supervise staff, while setting succession planning goals to ensure continuous growth and development

-          Uphold food safety standards

-          Negotiate agreements with vendors for the procurement of essential food and supplies

-          Maintain records of daily sales and expenses; and prepare payroll cheques accurately

Qualifications

-          Minimum of a College diploma

-          Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision

-          Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
