Assistant Cook (Indian Cuisine)

Pick N Move located at 1450 Block Line Rd, Kitchener, ON, N2C 0A5 requires 2 Assistant Cooks (Indian Cuisine) on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $18.00 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. No experience required. We will train. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leave will be provided. JOB DUTIES AS ASSISTANT COOK (INDIAN CUISINE)

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the food preparation areas in accordance with company and health safety standards.
• Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens.
• Unloading supplies and organizing the storeroom.
• Any other help that the cook may need in order to prepare any dishes.
