Civil engineer

We are looking for one full-time Civil engineer to join our team.

Wage Rate: $42-$44 per hour / 30 Hours per week

Work Location: various locations in Victoria, BC

Start date: as soon as possible

Main Duties:

• Confer with clients to determine project requirements
• Plan and design building project and structural plans for the review of the Licensed Structural Engineer
• Develop construction specifications and procedures
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
• Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
• Establish and monitor construction work schedules
• Act as a site supervisor for construction work
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects

Qualifications:

- 3 years related work experience

- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required

- Language, English
