BGI is a service company. We are a marketing, service provider, and pre-inspection company in the field
of oil and gas.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
COO will be overall responsible for BGI Canada operations, including Vancouver, Nanaimo, and any
branches that will be opened in Canada or abroad in the future.

The primary duty of the COO is to provide strategic leadership to the company by working with the
Board, and separately, he will report to the CEO.

Duties
· Establish and carry out departmental and organizational goals, policies, and procedures
· Direct and oversee financial and budgetary activities
· Manage general operations and appoint new resources to manage each task within general operations
· Consult and manage other executives and board members about general operations and negotiate
with different companies to take the job
· Negotiate, analyze, and approve contracts and agreements
· Analyze financial statements and sales reports, and provide technical financial advice and knowledge to
others within all disciplines
· Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
e.g. global trade restrictions and their legal impact on the projects of the company
· Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism, which includes a minimum
cash threshold to meet operating needs
· Evaluate the technical and finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the
efficiency and effectiveness of the operation as well as providing individuals with professional and
personal growth with an emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals.

Education and Experience Required
- BSc degree in engineering
- Min 3 years working at the management level
- Min 3 years working in inspection and pre-inspection in oil and gas and chemical product
- Having a good understanding of the Cost, Time, and Scope of work.
- Having a good understanding of oil and gas products, vessel loading, and equipment
- Having a good understanding of HSE and safety in oil and gas

Type: Full-time, Permanent position (40 hours a week)
Shift: Day-time
Wage: $63/hr
