Retail meat cutter

A well knnown Meat shop in Hamilton is looking to hire 2 hard working indivisuals in their growing business. Candidates should be able to perform duties assigned in timely and efficient manner.Owner will train right indivisuals and provide oppurtunities to grow.

The wage rate will be C$ 19-22/hr.The succesfull candidate will get  30-40 hrs per week gurranted and will also get  4% of vacation pay.

Job is full time and permanent.

Responsibilities include

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Wrap and package prepared meats
• Remove bones from meat
• Weigh meats for sale
• Cut poultry into parts
• Price meat products
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
• Sell meats to customers
• Cut fish into steaks and fillets
• Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers
• Grind meats
• Make special sausages
• Slice cooked meats
• Prepare special orders
• Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
