Overtime:                                          $28.50/hr (As per BC Standards – for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Experience:                                       2-3 years of food sector experience with at least some of supervisory     experience (equivalent management experience in other retail will also       be considered)

Duties:

  • Adhere to, and ensure employee adherence to, company standards and expected service levels in order to increase sales and minimize costs;
  • Keep the Franchise President up-to-date and fully informed of any and all issues and take prompt corrective actions where necessary and/or if the situation permits, offer alternative suggestions as to the appropriate course of action;
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance for kitchen and sitting areas;
  • Ensure safety and health compliance that is in alignment with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws and ordinances;
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues and help them to develop into proficient workers by providing them with ongoing performance feedback;
  • Ensure that recipes/product directions for preparing, seasoning and cooking are being strictly followed;
  • oversee the organization and storage of inventory;
  • order food products and supplies;
  • optimize profits by reducing waste, overhead, and controlling inventory timing; and
  • ensure that our guests are satisfied.
  • Perform conflict resolution actions as appropriate to the given issue (either staff or customer);
  • Perform administrative duties to ensure that all financials are completed accurately and on time;
