2 Food Counter Attendants

Employer: HSP BAHIA Enterprises Ltd o/a Subway

Salary: $11.50/hr based on 36-40 hr/wk with 4% Vacation pay

Work Location: #1-45575 Keith Wilson Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 0M6

Work Setting: Fast food restaurant

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Experience: Some secondary school education is usually required. On-the-job training is provided

Job Description:

• Take customers’ orders


• Clean, peel, slice and trim food staffs using manual and electric appliances


• Use grill, oven and other equipment to prepare food items such as sandwiches, wraps and salads


• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons and package take-out food;


• Use equipment to prepare hot beverages


• Serve customers at counters


• Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used


• May receive payment for food items purchased
