LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER

TASK: 

-EDUCATION: Seconday (high) school graduation certificate

-Experience: will train

Tasks:

-Driver as part of a two-person team or convoy

-Load and unload goods

-obtain speical permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.

-Oversee condition of vehicle and inpect tire, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.

-Perform emergency roadside repairs

-Receive and relay information to central dispatch

-Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

-Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

-Transport and handle dangerous goods

Certificates, Licences, Memberships and courses-air brake (Z) Endorsement

-Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A)

-Security and Safety -Criminal record check
