Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising and leading restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensuring excellent customer service, handling feedback, and addressing customer concerns.
- Managing day-to-day operations, from opening to closing, to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Handling budgets, tracking expenses, and generating financial reports for the restaurant.
- Ensuring food quality, presentation, and overall adherence to established standards.
- Upholding health and safety regulations and overseeing cleanliness and hygiene.
- Implementing marketing strategies to attract customers and increase restaurant visibility.
- Addressing issues promptly, whether related to staff, customers, or operational challenges.
- Identifying opportunities for increasing sales and profitability.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the restaurant industry, including roles with increasing responsibility.
- Strong leadership and management abilities to oversee staff and operations effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to handle guest interactions and feedback.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to efficiently manage working within a budget of $ 500,001 - $ 1,500,000.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, menu planning, and culinary trends.
- Capability to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and operational requirements.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, staff, and the local community.
