Kitchen Helpers

Planet India Restaurant Inc. is looking for 2 Kitchen helpers for their restaurant located at #17, 13775 72 Avenue, Surrey BC, V4W 9Z1.

Positions: 2

Duties and responsibilities:

• Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
• Wash work tables, meat blocks, appliances and clean kitchen work areas, equipments, utensils and dishes.
• Refill condiments and other supplies in kitchen
• Wash and peel vegetables, using knife or peeling machine
• Prepare basic food items
• Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipments to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, milkshakes and other beverages.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, food storage area etc.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving area
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Place dishes, pans and kitchen tools at their place.

Qualification:

• Secondary school completion certificate
• On Job training will be provided.

Salary: $17
