Hiring: Short Haul Truck Driver
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
- Be able to load and unload goods and shipments.
- Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to clients safely.
- Maintain optimal condition of vehicle by regularly inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of the truck and submit reports for any maintenance that might be required.
- Perform brake adjustments.
- Must be able to do routine emergency roadside repairs.
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection.
- Manage all aspects of vehicle.
- Complete preventative maintenance.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Tarping and confirming safety and security of cargo.
