Responsibilities/ Tasks

• Supervise daily operations in the grocery store to ensure smooth and efficient activities.

• Oversee team members, establishing and managing work schedules.

• Delegate tasks to the team, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion.

• Maintain high customer service levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and excellent store presentation at all times.

• Order stock as needed to maintain proper inventory levels.

• Monitor shelf stocks, product displays, and the overall appearance of the store.

• Implement measures to avoid stock damage, theft, and wastage.

• Manage cash and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

• Sell merchandise and oversee the cash counter as required.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines by employees.

• Assist in the hiring process, and train and develop new team members, providing necessary skills and information.

• Address customer requests, comments, and complaints promptly and effectively.

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving store performance.
