Room Attendant
Great job opportunity!
Permanent full-time Room Attendant wanted for “1852124 Alberta Ltd. o/a Ace Crown Motel” located at Unit #633 14 Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V5. The wage rate is $15.00 per hour and work at least 40 hours per week. Benefit includes 4% vacation pay.
JOB DUTIES
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies.
- Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Wash windows and walls.
- Report and store lost and found items.
- Provide basic information on the motel.
Skills/Personal Suitability Requirements: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use. Able and Willing to work weekends and overtime.
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Language: English
Work experience: Experience is an asset but not required as the employer will provide training.
