Load and unload goods and drive truck from manufacturing plants to retail centers
Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment prior to each trip
Perform brake adjustments and inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues
Efficiently receive and transmit critical information to central dispatch
Safely transport both finished goods and raw materials across land, facilitating port-to-port logistics.
Maintain meticulous records in the logbook, encompassing mileage, rest periods, and fuel/toll expenses
Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or regulatory violations
Perform emergency roadside repairs and report it to maintenance personnel
Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to reach timely and quickly
Follow all traffic laws and maintain commercial driving licence clean & up to date
Diligently document cargo details and accurately track hours of service
