Early childhood educator (ECE) assistant

Location: 3000 Victoria Park Ave, suite 95, North York, ON M2J 4Y2, Canada.
Workplace information: On site (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely).
Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
Total Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week

Responsibilities

Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers.
Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Engage children in activities by telling stories, preparing crafts.
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavior programs and guide their parents & supervisor.
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
Observe activities of children while playing.
Engage and work collaboratively as a team member with all the staff of the daycare centre.
Maintain regular and open communication with peers and discuss the progress issue with the Early childhood educator.
