POSITION INFORMATION# OF VACANCIES: 1
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal Employment – April 1 to November 30, 2025
LANGUAGE OF WORK: English
WAGE: $21.00/hour with Overtime (If Applicable)
HOURS PER WEEK: 40 Hours/Week – Full Time (7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday)
SICK DAYS – 5 paid days per season
LOCATION OF WORK: Osoyoos, BC
Languages: English
Education: No specific education required
Experience: Available work experience of 1 years is an asset for employer
JOB DUTIES AND SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
- Cut grass, rake leaves and grass, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens,prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties
- Maintain lawns and grass
- Install new lawns and use gravel
- Yard clean up from debris and weed
- Operate and maintain professional lawnmower and gardening equipment/tools
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease
