Permanent Position: Kitchen Helper

 

Number of Positions: 1

Wage Rate: $17.85 per hour for 35-40 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 3945 Johnston Road suite A, Port Alberni, British Columbia, V9Y 5N4

 

Job Duties:

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Place dishes in storage area
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• Assisting the kitchen staffs and cooks for food preparations under their guidance.

 

 

Requirements:

Minimum Experience: Will train

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma/ NONE

Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail

Fluent in English
