Responsibilities
Tasks
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the organization’s health information systems, with a focus on EMR/EHR platforms, patient engagement tools, and clinical workflow optimization.
- Collaborate with C-level leadership to define IT strategies that align with clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
- Drive continuous innovation by assessing emerging healthcare technologies and digital health trends.

Oversee full product lifecycle management of clinical and administrative technology solutions using Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Ensure timely delivery and evolution of EMR/EHR functionalities across all departments by leading cross-functional product teams.

Guide product backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment across multiple scrum teams.

Leverage prior clinical experience to translate healthcare delivery needs into system requirements and solution designs.

Champion interoperability initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare standards including HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, HEDIS, CCDA, and ICD/SNOMED coding.

Lead enterprise-wide IT operations, infrastructure, and support systems to ensure security, scalability, and reliability.

Establish KPIs and success metrics for system performance, project delivery, and end-user satisfaction.

Ensure all systems adhere to local, provincial/state, and federal regulations.
