Sushi Chef

Position Summary: 

Sushi Town Japanese Restaurant is looking for a Sushi Chef to join its team. 

Job Details:

Location: Coquitlam, BC V3B 1C2

Salary: $35.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week 

Employment Type: Permanent Employment, Full Time 

Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Morning 

Employment Requirements: Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements: 

Languages: English 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years 

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. 

Responsibilities: 

Tasks: 

• Create new recipes 
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff 
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods 
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food 
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed 
• Address customers' complaints or concerns 

Credentials: 

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Safe Food Handling Certificate, Food Safety Certificate 

Experience and Specialization: 

Cuisine Specialties: Sushi preparation techniques, Japanese Cuisine
