Job Overview
United Brothers Transport Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electric Arc Welder to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive wage and health benefits. The successful candidate will work on-site in a dynamic and physically demanding industrial setting.
Responsibilities

Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
-
Inspect and ensure welds meet quality standards

Operate flame-cutting, arc-air (AOC), and oxygen cutting equipment
-
Perform brazing, soldering, fitting, and metal torch-straightening
-
Use shears, brakes, and metal shaping or bending machines
-
Set up and operate welding machines for fabrication and repair
-
Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on welding and related equipment
-
Use hoisting and lifting devices to position materials as required
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment: Outdoors, confined spaces, noisy, hot, dusty, dirty
Setting: Commercial, Industrial, Remote locations
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
