Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and reliable Concrete Finishers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in a variety of construction projects. This includes foundations, sidewalks, driveways, floors, curbs, and other concrete structures.

Main Job Duties:

• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Level the top surface concrete according to the grade and depth specification
• Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to work with hand and power tools in outdoor construction environments
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods

Education Requirement:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience:

• No formal experience required; on-the-job training will be provided

• Prior concrete or construction experience is an asset

Language of Work:

• English

Job Type:

• Full-Time, Permanent

• 35-40 hours per week (overtime as required)

Wage:

• $48.60/hour
