General Job Duties

• • Load and unload construction materials and equipment, and move them to work areas
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and ramps when needed
  • Assist our skilled tradespeople in constructing various garden structures, including decks, gazebos, and pergolas, as well as performing repair and maintenance work.
  • Remove waste materials, rubble and other debris.
  • Tend to the equipment used in construction, as well as in repair and maintenance.
  • Perform other activities at construction sites as directed.

Salary: $16.50 and up per hour, depending on experience

Education 

• High school diploma

Languages

• English

Work experience

• At least 1 year of proven experience

Security and safety

• Must be able to obtain police clearances

Skills required

• Attention to details
• Cleaning and house/shop keeping
• Loading and unloading materials

Personal suitability

• Requires attention to details
• Must be willing to undergo training in work areas that they are unfamiliar with
• Team player
