Job Title: Personal Care Assistant / Home Care Aide

Languages Required: English

Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

• 1 to less than 7 months

Work Location:

• On-site only (Work must be completed at the employer’s/client’s physical location; no remote work option)

Work Site Environment:

• Non-smoking

• Employer’s/client’s home setting

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside and personal care

• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene

• Support clients in regular exercises such as walking

• Feed or assist clients with feeding

• Launder clothing and household linens

• Mend clothing and linens as needed

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Cook meals for clients

Credentials:

• CPR Certificate (required)

• First Aid Certificate (required)

Experience & Specialization:

• Target audience: Elderly clients

• Preference for female caregivers

Additional Requirements:

• Criminal record check (mandatory for security and safety)

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Bending, crouching, kneeling

• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking

• Physically demanding tasks

• Repetitive tasks

• Ability to stand for extended periods
