JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

 

• Repair and replace exhaust system components, such as mufflers and flex pipes, to meet safety and emissions standards.
• Cut and weld catalytic converters into place, ensuring tight, leak-free connections for proper engine performance.
• Remove rusted or seized components (nuts, bolts, brackets) using torches and heat tools to enable safe and efficient part replacement.
• Remove stripped bolts and fasteners using controlled cutting and welding techniques to prevent damage to surrounding parts.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse and repair metal parts.
• Fit, braze, torch-straighten, and solder metal as required.
• Examine and inspect welds to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• May perform other related duties as required.

Salary:                        $37.00/hr.

Hours:                         30-40 hours per week

Qualifications:

Experience:                 7 months to less than 1 year of similar experience is required
