Home Support Worker/Caregiver

$20 an H/R

Provide care and companionship for elder individual during periods of incapacitation, convalescence and/or family disruption.
Administer bedside and personal care to client such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing.
Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding client.
May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse.
May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

*please note this is not for a child, it is for an elderly person, previous experience is an asset.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- person with experience handling an elderly vulnerable adult.

- secondary school education required

-person who is patience, and doesn't mind speakng loudly.

-first aid certification is an asset

- is aware of general household duties, and is able to support a 120lb person.
