About Us

Holyheart Construction Inc. is a growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects across Prince Edward Island. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Drywall Installer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Drywall Installer, you will:

• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.

• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.

• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.

• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.

• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.

• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids.

• Fill joints, nail indentations, and holes with joint compound.

• Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing.

• Ensure work areas are organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years (or equivalent experience).

• Language: English.

Work Environment

• Work must be completed at on-site locations.

• Environments may include: at heights, dusty, noisy, and various construction sites.

• Physically demanding role – repetitive tasks, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, crouching, kneeling, and working under pressure.
