• Salary: $160,000 to 170,000 annually (To be negotiated).

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Obtain medical information from patients, family members, or other health care providers.

• Assess the mental and physical health of patients by consulting with other medical practitioners.

• Provide medications and treatments to patients by prescribing and administering them as needed.

• Vaccinate and inoculate patients to prevent and treat disease

• Provide patients with the tools to develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their wellness approaches

• Provide counselling and support on a variety of health and lifestyle issues to patients and their families

• Providing emergency medical assistance

• Provide health care advice to patients

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).

• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
