Dental Hygienist

Dentology Dentists is currently looking for One Dental Hygienist Who could join immediately. The following are the requirements for the job:

Work Location: 777 Guelph Line, suite C5 Burlington, ON L7R 3N2

Wage: $41/ hour
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 35 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Language: English
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary health assessment for the patient
• Consult with dentists on the patient treatment plans
• Obtain accurate dental impressions for dental evaluation
• Inform patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
• Administer fluoride treatment to strengthen enamel and prevent cavities.
• Remove plaque, tartar, and surface stains from teeth through professional cleaning.
• Capture, process and develop and equip X-rays
• Perform restorative and orthodontic procedures as directed by dentist

Requirements:

Education:  College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years

Experience: At least 1 to 2 years

Credentials: Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
