Responsibilities

Tasks

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cabinetmakers and woodworking staff in the production area.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work processes.

• Ensure quality standards in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom cabinetry.

• Train and mentor new employees in work procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

• Establish and maintain production schedules to meet delivery timelines.

• Inspect completed units for accuracy, fit, and finish before delivery or installation.

• Communicate with designers, installers, and management to ensure smooth workflow.

• Monitor inventory levels and request materials, hardware, and tools as needed.

• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce material waste.

• Enforce health and safety regulations in the workplace.
