Waitress

Valemount Vacation Inn is one of the largest hotels in Valemount, BC. With 71 fully renovated rooms, our hotel stands ready to meet the needs of modern business and leisure travelers.

We are looking for 1-2 waitresses to join our team.

 

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: No experience required, we will train

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods.

Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Reliability, Team player.

 

Job Duties:

• Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings,
• Describe menu items including daily specials for customers,
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs,
• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages,
• Serve food and beverages,
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff,
• Provide customer service.

 

Terms of employment: Seasonal position

Salary: $17.86/hour

Benefits: Relocation costs covered by the employer

Work Hours: 30 hours per week
