Salary: $23.00 / hour

Job requirements


Languages: English


Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years


Experience:2 years to less than 3 years


Ability to Supervise:11-15 people

Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000


Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures, Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, Recruit, train and supervise staff, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Provide customer service, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare food order summaries for chef, Prepare and submit reports, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Ensure food service and quality control, Establish work schedules

Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers, Food and beverage servers
