Job duties:
- Assist automotive service technicians in performing vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Move tools, equipment, and automotive parts to and from work areas.
- Assist with tire services including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires.
- Support technicians in oil changes, brake services, suspension work, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Help remove, install, and handle vehicle components under supervision.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and mechanical parts as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service bays and shop areas.
- Dispose of waste materials (used oil, tires, and parts) following safety and environmental regulations.
- Perform basic vehicle checks such as fluid levels, tire pressure, and battery condition.
- Load and unload supplies and automotive parts deliveries.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
