CHOP Steakhouse & Bar is seeking a motivated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. Our people are the heart and soul of our business, and we are looking for enthusiastic, upbeat, and hard-working individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, structured kitchen environment.

As a Cook, you will prepare and present high-quality dishes while maintaining CHOP Steakhouse’s standards of excellence in food quality, safety, and guest experience. You will work closely with a team of culinary professionals and contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.

As a Cook (TEER3: 63200), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to CHOP Steakhouse recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Maintain consistent food quality while ensuring timely service during high-volume periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with company policies and public health regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory rotation as required
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
• Support other kitchen staff and perform additional kitchen duties as required

Qualifications:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant is an asset
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Effective supervising and training skills and attention to detail
• Multi-tasker and effective time management

Terms of employment:                     Permanent, Full-time (30 hours/week)

Compensation:                                  $37.00/hour
