Flight Express Travel has been in business for over 20 years as an air fare wholesaler. We provide best deals for Tours, Hotels, Cruises, Vacation packages and Travel Insurance at our store set up in British Columbia. We are a boutique agency that offers superior technical expertise, customer service excellence, extended service hours, customized reporting & travel management. We urgently need of a “Travel –Office Admin” to work at our store located in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Hours: Permanent Employment/ full Time 32 hours / week.
Language Requirement: English
Qualification: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate.
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Wage: C$37.00/hr.
Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Job duties of Travel –Office Admin (NOC: 13100):

  • Oversee and coordinate daily administrative procedures related to travel bookings and client itineraries, while evaluating and implementing new digital workflow systems to improve office efficiency.
  • Establish work priorities and delegate tasks to other travel consultants and office staff to ensure all ticketing deadlines, tour departures, and agency procedures are strictly followed.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the secure handling and release of client records.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including the procurement of travel-specific equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the agency’s annual operating budget, maintaining rigorous inventory controls for travel vouchers.
  • Assemble travel market data and client feedback to prepare periodic performance reports.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work, Fast-paced environment; must be a team player, client focused, having a strong organization and planning skills.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Have knowledge of point of sale system, electronic scheduler, word processing software, and Flight inventory control software, Electronic mail.
