TacoTime Canada in Saskatoon is looking for a full-time permanent Food Service Manager to join our growing team. TacoTime Canada is known for serving bold, fresh Mexican-inspired cuisine prepared daily using quality Canadian-sourced ingredients. From our signature burritos and tacos to our famous Mexi-Fries® and fresh hot sauces, we are committed to delivering great food and excellent customer service in a fast-paced and welcoming environment.
The successful candidate must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as required. The role requires the ability to work independently and supervise a team of food service staff while ensuring smooth daily restaurant operations, maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards, managing inventory, and creating a positive customer experience.
Job Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the TacoTime location to ensure smooth restaurant operations, efficient service, and consistent food quality
- Lead and support team members during daily operations while fostering a positive, customer-focused work environment
- Train new employees on TacoTime service standards, food preparation procedures, hygiene practices, and workplace policies
- Prepare weekly staff schedules, coordinate shift coverage, and ensure adequate staffing during busy hours and weekends
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food handling, and customer service in accordance with company policies and provincial health regulations
- Monitor stock levels of food ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies, and coordinate timely replenishment orders
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work proactively to enhance the overall dining experience
- Track restaurant sales, labour costs, and inventory usage, and assist in improving operational efficiency and profitability
- Ensure all opening, closing, cash handling, and daily reporting procedures are completed accurately and on time
- Work closely with suppliers and management to support ongoing restaurant growth, promotional activities, and operational improvements
