- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets according to specifications.
- Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
- Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound.
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry between applications.
- Repair and patch damaged drywall surfaces.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and work orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Load, unload and transport construction materials as required.

- Fall Protection Training is an asset
