Retail Butcher

Job summary:

 Eastern Food Market is a retail grocery store and offer the freshest Halal meats and butchery, extensive grocery and produce, as well as a bakery and take out with fresh naan, bread, shawarma, wood oven pizza, and more with dine in seating. We are looking to hire a Butcher to join our team and fast growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Wrap and package prepared meats
• Remove bones from meat
• Weigh meats for sale
• Cut poultry into parts
• Price meat products
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
• Sell meats to customers
• Grind meats

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school.
• At least one year of experiences.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe operation the equipment.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks with minimum supervision.
• Accurate and reliable.

 Salary:

$37.00 per hour

 Schedule:

 Day shift Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexible hours will be considered.
