Job Duties

Specific Skills:

• Direct and control daily operations

• Evaluate daily operations

• Plan and organize daily operations

• Manage staff and assign duties

• Determine merchandise and services to be sold

• Implement price and credits policies

• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale

• Develop and implement marketing strategies

• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers

• Conduct performance reviews

Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Terms of Employment: Full-time; Permanent

Employment Conditions:  Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Language of work: English

Wage: $46.15 CAD/HR

Hours: 30 to 40 hours/week

Location of work: 4909 17th Ave SE, Suite 106, Calgary, AB T2A 0V5

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Skills Requirements

Education:College/CEGEP

Work Experience: Several years of experience (2 years to less than 3 years minimum)
