Jeanne's Bakery Limited is a well-established Winnipeg bakery with a proud history dating back to 1936. For nearly 90 years, the company has been recognized for producing high-quality specialty cakes and baked goods while maintaining a strong commitment to craftsmanship, consistency, and customer service. In addition to its retail bakery operations, Jeanne's Bakery also operates Creative Food Products, a commercial bakery specializing in frozen pizza dough, pre-baked pizza crusts, and custom bakery products for restaurant and wholesale customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our bakery production team.

Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of a college or other
program for bakers or equivalent experience is an asset.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of commercial baking experience or equivalent
combination of training and experience.
Shifts: Morning, daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, icings, and frostings according to standardized recipes and production specifications.
- Prepare, mix, shape, and bake frozen pizza dough, pre-baked pizza crusts, cakes, cookies, cinnamon buns, pastries, and other bakery products while ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Prepare custom bakery products in accordance with customer specifications and production requirements.
- Frost, decorate, and finish cakes and other specialty baked goods.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure all products meet established company standards.
- Requisition baking ingredients and supplies and assist with inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production area in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
