     Job Duties:

• Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials for cabinets, counters, support structures and interior finishing work.
• Build and install wooden frames, supports and bases required for countertops, cabinets and other fixtures.
• Install cabinets, shelving, trims, mouldings, doors and other finished carpentry components.
• Read measurements, sketches and basic drawings to complete work according to customer and project requirements.
• Prepare work areas and make adjustments to walls, cabinets or supporting structures before countertop installation.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, sanders and measuring tools safely and properly.
• Check that cabinets, frames and supports are level, properly aligned and strong enough for countertop installation.
• Repair or replace damaged wooden components, cabinets, trims and other interior fixtures when required.
• Assist with fitting and finishing work around granite, quartz and other countertop installations.
• Coordinate with countertop installers and other workers to ensure measurements and installation requirements are correct.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company safety procedures while working at the shop and customer locations.
• Load, unload and move carpentry materials, tools and finished components as required for installation work.
