INSULATION MECHANIC

Westcor Thermal Inc. located at #16 – 19272 – 96 Ave., Surrey, BC,  V4N 4C1, is seeking an experienced Insulation Mechanic to join our team in Surrey, BC.

Job Details

• Position: Insulation Mechanic
• Wage: $32.50 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Schedule: Day
• Vacancies: 1
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work location: On site

Requirements

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
• Experience with spraying and blowing insulation

Responsibilities

• Select the type of insulation required.
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.

Work Setting

• Construction
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
