AUTO BODY SOLDERER – TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR

Multi Truck Sales Ltd. is seeking experienced Auto Body Solderers to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.

Position: Auto Body Solderer
Location: 6050 Dixie Road, Mississauga, ON
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Wage: $37.00–$40.00 per hour
Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Job Duties

• Apply body fillers, solder, and finishing materials to restore vehicle surfaces to manufacturer specifications.
• Remove dents, corrosion, and damage sections of vehicle body panels prior to soldering and repair work.
• Grind, sand, and polish repaired areas to achieve a smooth and uniform finish before painting.
• Impact completed repairs to ensure proper alignment, fit and quality of auto body components.
• Join metal components using various soldering techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine soldering requirements.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect solders for accuracy, completeness, and structural integrity.
• Maintain soldering tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve soldering techniques through training and practice.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in soldering, brazing, welding or related metal repair work.
• Experience in truck or truck-trailer repair is required.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and manuals.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
